International Busker Festival

Thursday, August 17: Grand opening 5pm to 6pm

Thursday, 17: 6pm to 11pm Regular busker performances.

Friday 18: 3:30 - 5:00pm children's show at Charles Clark Square. In case of rain the Children's show will take place at the Armouries.

Friday, 18: 6pm to 11pm. Regular busker performances.

Saturday, 19: 12pm to 11pm. Regular busker performances.

Sunday, 20: 12pm to 9pm. Regular busker performances.

This show get 100,000 visitors each year. Which is pretty good seeing there are only 300,000 people in Windsor.

This years performers include:
Pedro Tochas - an elaborate language of facial expressions.
Hilby - skinny German jugler on a unicycle.
Yo Yo People - Husband and wife team do things with Yo Yos you didn't think possible.
The Puppet Guy - rock and rolling marionettes.
Pandora Pink - The rock n’ roll princess.
Charlie Brown - juggles and makes deep jokes.
Ti-guy Davio - hand balancer on a 12 foot pole.

Talking about poles. If a person from Poland is a pole; is a person from Holand a hole.

Les Vitamines - The show host Patrick Sébastien says “They’re nuts”.
Magic Brian - wagon loads of charisma and stiletto sharp wit.
Pete Sweet - sings crazy jazz while dancing and juggling fire on a rope high above the ground.
Ed Stander - master of the glass harmonica.

The Busker Food Court offers pizza, ribs, chicken, hamburgers and hot-dogs, lemonade, ice tea and frozen yogurt.

There are a few events scatered around the downtown, but most take place at the Riverfront Festival Plaza.

Friday and Saturday evenings 8:00 pm to 1:30 am.
There will be a free shuttle bus service to and from the Riverfront Festival Plaza and City Centre parking lots located at Pitt & Caron Avenue and across the street from the rear (south side) of the Art Gallery of Windsor.
